Why Give to Seed to Oaks?
Seed to Oaks taught me more about reaching my own neighborhood in a few months than what I learned in the last five years of going at it alone! Every gift helps Seed to Oaks connect churches, businesses, and civic agencies to partner together and solve community problems. Churches can't do this alone - a contribution of any amount can have a big impact.
– Rob Maine, Pastor
"They called us Angels..."
We've been working with churches in 14 states. One of our church partners in Atlanta, Georgia highlights how their church is benefiting from our Neighborhood Assessment. They've adopted dozens of teachers who've called them Angels. The church is now mobilizing hundreds of their people, cultivating new partnerships, and practically meeting the needs within 10 neighborhoods throughout their metro area.
"Much Wind in My Sails..."
Over 125 people have been placed into full-time jobs through Job One. From one of our church partners in Louisville, Kentucky, "this partnership with Job One and Seed to Oaks has put much needed wind in my sails as a pastor amidst a difficult year and truly is an encouragement for the entire church...Praying that you don’t grow weary in doing good”!
"Physical and Spiritual Healing..."
Every organization has become a health organization in 2020. From no cost drive through flu shots in poor communities to consulting various health initiatives in multiple states, Whole Health is working with churches, health organizations, and city health departments to meet the critical needs. For example, 15 churches in Kentucky are working together with their Seed to Oaks strategist to bring physical and spiritual healing to their neighborhood.
A Lifesaver In A Time Of Need..."
One of our many church partners in Indiana saw a 100% increase in their student's readiness for the school year. Another church "adopted" 75 teachers, giving care packages, gifts, meals and much needed support for those educating children in the midst of change and challenge. One educator said that the church has become a lifesaver.
